– First, I wanna say congratulations, for sticking through
and losing the weight. It is an incredible
milestone and accomplishment, to say that you’ve reached a
goal that you set out to do. What most people don’t
realize with weight loss, is that once you’ve shed the weight, and the shame along with it, it becomes a different mentality battle. Maintenance can be tricky,
but it doesn’t have to be. Remember the hard work you’ve
done to get yourself here, and understand this. The work doesn’t stop
when you reach your goal. There is no timeline for your health. It is a lifelong commitment
that your body will thank you for as you continue to
thrive, no matter what age. I wanna get a free resource in your hand, that will help you sustain weight loss, long after this video is over. Download my free Mindset
Manifesto in the link below. Life after weight loss. A different mental battle. Most people think they can stop
once they reach their goal. Maintenance is key and it
is a different type of work, but when you stop completely,
you risk yo-yo dieting. The thing that people don’t realize is, the work doesn’t stop when
you reach your goal weight. In fact, every day for
the rest of your life, you’re gonna work on this. See, you ain’t never
going back your old ways. You’ve got to realize that. People step on the scale
and they say, woo 154, I reached my goal, I’m
going out for pizza. But, that is not how we do things. It’s not prison, all right? I’m not saying you can’t have pizza. You can have pizza. But you have to do it strategically. You have to make sure that
the majority of the meals, the majority of days, the
majority of the weeks, the majority of the months of your life, you are eating clean. You are eating good quality Code Red food. You can eat some things, sometimes. You can have some sugar sometimes. But, you are always gonna
have to adhere to the rules. Remember, ain’t nobody
getting out of the rules. No matter when you are at
this stage of your life. So, maintenance and
keeping off your weight. The reason that Code Red is
effective and sustainable, is because we address the
deeper internal issues. By the time you lose the
weight and need to maintain, your mindset has already shifted, and it has become easier
to maintain a lifestyle, instead of a quick fix. The nice thing about Code Red is, what we eat during weight loss versus what we eat during maintenance, there isn’t a big difference. You’ve gotta get that through your head. That’s why we can
sustain it for long-term. It’s just that the rules
are a little bit different. The food stays the same. If the weight loss food and
the maintenance rules food were totally different, then
it would be such a dramatic shift that, no wonder nobody could do it. But, that’s not the case with Code Red. It’s all the same food. It’s all the same food. But remember, you adhere
to the three rules. The three rules are, you stay on the scale everyday, no matter what. You maintain your weight. You maintain your water
consumption every day, no matter what, and you never, never, never allow junk food back in
your house, no matter what. That’s maintenance rules. That’s keeping your weight off rules. But guys, when you are
eating for maintenance, it’s really no different
than eating for weight loss. It’s just that you can
add certain things like, one piece of fruit a day. And, we can experiment
and find out if maybe, a English muffin is
something that you want to add back in, in the morning. Do I support that? Not really, but I support you,
and if that’s what you want, and you can maintain your
weight loss, I’m all for it. So, we’ve got to kind of
experiment to find out what’s gonna work for you. But, the maintenance food
and the weight loss food, it’s the same. The difference between Code
Red and other nutrition plans, is that Code Red is a lifestyle. Rather than addressing the
root cause of the problem, other diets focus on the surface level. A quick fix for aesthetics. Remember, that your
weight is not the problem. It is the result of a deeper problem. If you are ready to stop
making excuses and sustain the hard work that you have put in, download my free Mindset Manifesto. If you like this video,

50 lbs for almost a year now!
Bought the book and started in May of 2018. First challenge June 2018 and then bought my CP. There is no going back! In June of 2019 I hit my goal and the total loss was 125#. I have been learning the maintenance lifestyle. Since June I have added a "bumper" of 3# and I have not gone above my goal weight. I have added back exercise and once in awhile I add a different food and WOW does my body let me know when it is something my body does not want. I love this lifestyle and I am NEVER going around that mountain again!!!
