Ice and stretch your muscles

Ice and stretch your muscles

A new year means new fitness goals.
But if you’re training all day and working out too,
your body might need some TLC in the form of ice, heat, and stretching.
The reason why you want to utilize ice is a lot of times when you’re out there running
and performing while in your service, you can be creating inflammation.
Inflammation is swelling around the joints and is also indicated by a sharp type pain.
So the correct application of ice is going to be approximately 15 to 20 minutes per hour,
and you can do that two or three times throughout the day
in order to decrease that inflammation. Later, after the inflammation has been decreased,
you’re going to want to use heat to bring blood back into that area
because after the inflammation goes away, usually the individual is going to feel stiff
and sore.
