CHA Lab Careers

So I love working at CHA because my
teammates, my coworkers are just the best people that I could ever hope to work
with. I love CHA because of the mission
statement that you will not refuse to give care to anyone that walks through the door, no matter who you look like, how you are, your immigration status, or, or your
race, your religion, anything. Being part of something like that is very rewarding.
As we are rooted in a minority population, we’re constantly, not just
with patients, but with coworkers, getting exposed to different cultures, and I want to say
that at least once a week I walk away learning something new about a different
culture and I walk away with a new perspective towards things. Whenever I
come in I never regret coming here because you can learn and grow in the
way that you learn and grow. They’re very accommodating. There was always a door open to go through it, and to be a better person and a better future in life. They’re
very education oriented so they always want you to improve yourself. There’s all
kinds of tests that you can do, there’s a lot of opportunity for growth. CHA has
offered new opportunities for me to expand my skills and horizons. They gave
me the opportunity to start my first job here. They like, the emphasizing like
internal promotion which i think is a great thing you get to, uh…
You basically get to work hard, you know? Show that you can do the job and then
you got a chance to take uh, take a higher position. You get to have a lot of
autonomy in this lab particular. It allows you to have some sense of
responsibility for the lab. The benefits is super, super good. First of all, the pay
scale is phenomenal. We’re above any Boston hospital. The vacation time,
the investment plans are really nice. You get health insurance. Another cool
thing that you get here is also education reimbursements, so if you want
to take a class, you want to take a course online or anything, you can get
a reimbursement from those courses. I really like the E.T. – the earned time. Earned time is just the fact that you have both sick time and vacation time in one set of
time. Another thing that I like about CHA is the management – they seem to
really take care of their people and are very knowledgeable. The leaders here are
great. My man… my supervisor is great she’s very competent, very approachable, and I
feel like any, any of the management here and everyone’s approachable and they
make you feel at home. They have really good benefits. It’s work and life balance. It’s
a team, really good team of workers here and I enjoy my patients here. You know I
love working at CHA because I feel like I’m not at work. I’m at home, I’m with my family and with my friends and the work is just a bonus. (Music)
